A concept evolved, now live (https://themonolith.media) in its ‘beta’ stage along with ancillary presences on LinkedIn, the Socials (BlueSky, Facebook, Instagram, Truth Social, X –  none of which are being pushed just yet), a Spotify playlist (https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0gdtA72asmkajx9cOWlHp7), and once I’m published, Wikipedia. 

During the 2016 election run up I frequented Real Clear Politics (https://www.realclearpolitics.com) as it provided links to articles (mostly right leaning) which we’re going to ‘do better’ by channeling Ralph Waldo Emerson who originated, “Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door ” and Jeff Bridges in ‘Tucker: A Man and His Dream’ who said, “We invented the free enterprise system, where anybody, no matter who he was, where he came from, what class he belonged to… If he came up with a better idea, about anything, there’s no limit to how far he could go.”

I hired a Saint Louis Entrepreneurs’ Organization / E.O. (https://member.eonetwork.org/stlouis) buddy Alex Wolk (https://insiteadvice.com) to create an alternative aggregator which will alter the North American media landscape as we present a crisper homepage which’ll provide links to free + paywall protected political articles with lanes distinguishable by color (Grey favors Neutral + Independent, Blue leans Left, & Red leans Right), a secondary page of condensed artificial intelligence version of articles that’ll captivate users to remain. Similar to Ground News, readers will be able to vote if articles are incorrectly biased (by color) and will further engage by encouraging comments after agreeing to a code of conduct.

Phase I – Singularly focusing on politics within the United States by providing fresh articles twice daily (7:00am & 11:00am CST) which will soon lead to clones covering Canada and United Kingdom.

Phase 2 – Creation of a ‘Community’ via a Writers Portal of dedicated authors who’ll have profiles which’ll include bio, headshot, additional writings, books, quotes, and social media hot links while In-house writers (after paying $100 annually) will be invited to the Global Summit (Key West or Sarasota) where we’ll convene to partake in culinary, libations, cigars, and begin the process of finding common ground.

Phase 3 – Offering readers the ability to pay for personal preferences which needs additional value hence it being pushed (rollout) towards early 2027.

Phase 4 ( aka Infinity and Beyond ) – Covering the Formula One racing circuit (MM/F1) which intrigues because F1 writers and fans resonate from five continents who carry allegiances (all the more reason to bookmark us) such as teams, circuit, country, driver, engine chassis, manufacture, and power units necessitating a dynamically different homepage requiring additional languages, currencies, and platforms. Once established we’re considering the PGA, USTA, UFC, and the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics.

Once it takes off I’ll pursue a lifelong dream of authoring free-flow non-political long-form 2000+ word essays (emulating the writings of Marvin Shanken within Cigar Aficionado and the early 2000’s material of Bill Simmons) that’ll resonate to the masses on topics such as suicide (which I considered at 29), my 83 y/o mother (her 10 hobbies + unlimited energy), wedlock parenting / divorce, alcoholism, my 30 years of NFL experiences, my evolving into then out of a family business, the steady downward trajectory of Saint Louis Missouri and its potential rebirth, how I’ve been at the forefront of a local Elks lodge growing from 200 members to north of 1000, and father-son dynamics just to name a few.

I debated calling it (covered extensively within the 09/25/26 Essay ‘What’s in a Name’ ) the ‘Portal’ or ‘Port of Shanghai’ (busiest in the world) as writers + readers will float in, dock, unload freight (content), load new freight (knowledge), then cast-off hopefully with a desire to return daily. I also considered ‘The Nile’ (largest river in Africa, mirroring Amazon) but decided on Monolith Media. I’m a fan of Stanley Kubrick’s 1968 epic, ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ which features Monoliths that, ‘Trigger shifts and guide evolution‘ which’ll provide fodder for interviews as we’re simplistically a place for links but in reality we’re, ‘Evolving humanity’s evolutionary journey and the power of transcendence.’ 

To conclude, we’re offering a neutral port where writers + readers won’t discern my political biases ( hence why it’ll never be addressed ) therefore it’ll attract not only the crazy right and extreme left but everyone in the middle who crave sane commentary to counter our polarizing world.

PS1 – The purple Monolith within the logo is a union of red and blue.

PS3 – We have our first advertiser so the ‘Partnership Portal’ is also under construction

PS4 – The public rollout is on-hold (closer to the holidays) until it’s curating ‘day of’ articles efficiently and the above Portals are completed
