Ahead of a logo, IRS EID, trademark, credo, elevator speech, and Vision a decision had to be made on what to call ‘this’ which requires diving into the world of GoDaddy and top-level domains (aka TLDs) such as .com .net .org .ai .co .info. io .online & .us. I debated calling this ‘The Portal’ or ‘Port of Shanghai’ (busiest in the world) as writers + readers will float in, dock, unload freight (content), load new freight (knowledge), then cast-off hopefully with a desire to return daily. I also considered ‘The Nile’ (largest river in Africa, mirroring Amazon) but decided on Monolith Media. I’m a fan of Stanley Kubrick’s 1968 epic, ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’ which features Monoliths that ‘Trigger shifts and guide evolution‘ which’ll provide fodder for interviews as we’re simplistically a place for links but in reality we’re, ‘Evolving humanity’s evolutionary journey and the power of transcendence.’
What Is a Monolith?
– An alien machine: An unseen, highly intelligent alien species built the black pillars.
– Perfect dimensions: Its sides follow the exact math ratio of 1 : 4 : 9 (the squares of the first three numbers: 1² : 2² : 3²).
– Galactic presence: Thousands of these objects exist across the Milky Way galaxy.

What Does a Monolith Do?
– Triggers evolution: The first monolith visits early ape-men four million years ago and teaches them how to use tools and weapons.
– Acts as an alarm: Another monolith on the Moon sends a radio signal to Jupiter once humans finally discover it and travel into space.
– Serves as a gateway: It opens a stargate to transport astronauts across space for a massive transformation.
Real-World Monoliths
– Desert pillars: Shiny metal pillars mysteriously appeared in Utah and other parts of the world starting in late 2020.
– Art and pranks: These real-life objects turned out to be art installations or metal sculptures left by anonymous creators, inspired by the famous movie.
